Awarded to the brand that has developed the best customer acquisition strategy for their app and/or website supporting new app downloads and/or website registrations over the past 18 months.
Award criteria include but are not limited to acquiring users through organic and/or paid marketing, App Store Optimization, channel cross-promotions, reviews, ratings and referrals, content marketing and cross-channel advertising.
Relevant results include: Conversion rate optimization, app downloads growth, reduced cost-per-ad and CAC, increased opt-in rate.
Activation
Awarded to the brand that has built the strongest program for activating new app and/or website customers over the past 18 months.
Award criteria include but are not limited to ensuring customers learn how to use the app, understand its benefits, stay engaged, opt in to marketing communications and return to the app, setting the stage for long-term customer retention and value.
Relevant results include: Improved customer retention, new user retention, increased retention post first 6 and 30 days of install, increase in opt-in rate.
Value Impact
Awarded to the brand that has best used Airship technology to support revenue generation over the past 18 months.
Award criteria include, but are not limited to, in-app purchases, user paid subscribers and cross-promotion.
Relevant results include: Increase in number of in-app purchases, increase in number of paid subscribers, improved average revenue per user, improved user lifetime value.
Unified Experience
Awarded to the brand that has best used Airship technology in unison with martech stacks to deliver seamless, cohesive experiences — in-session and across any combination of apps, websites and digital channels — resulting in exceptional customer engagement over the past 18 months.
Award criteria include, but are not limited to, the use of segmentation, experimentation and data to optimize behavior-based cross-channel journeys that deliver in-the-moment value to customers through messaging and no-code experiences.
Relevant results include: Increase in app return visitors, increase in visitor frequency, increase in message opens and message interactions (push, message center, stories views, etc), improved engagement score, improved opt-in or authentication rate

How are the Altitude Awards judged?
A panel of customer experience experts from across the globe will choose the winners.
Will the submission data be published or made public?
No, only the review team assigned to the category will view the submission data, unless you have authorized the use of data for a use case or case study. In this case, you will have final approval over any data which is made publicly available. Nevertheless, please do not include highly confidential data in your entry.
What is the deadline for entries?
You must submit your entry by midnight on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
How much does it cost to enter?
It is FREE to enter.
Can I enter multiple categories?
You can enter multiple categories if there is a distinct difference between your entries. You can submit multiple entries per category.
What do I receive if I win an Altitude Award?
Recognition, status, an elevated sense of self-satisfaction, a physical reward, a certificate to display on LinkedIn, and the right to tell everyone you’re the best of the best!
When will the winners be announced?
The 2024 Altitude Awards winners will be announced in November. There will be a live stream of the award ceremony.
