From boosting app downloads to building seamless and unified omnichannel experiences, this year’s winners demonstrated a deep commitment to delivering value for both their business and customers. Spanning multiple continents and industries, their achievements reflect the evolving demands of today’s empowered consumers. 

Highlights from the 2024 Winners

Acquisition: Online marketplace bol leveraged its “Price Alert Push” campaign to not only drive app downloads but also significantly boost opt-ins and conversions, achieving a conversion rate of 9% and nearly tripling opt-in rates.

Activation: Global retailer Sally Beauty Holdings wowed the judges with its creative use of no-code experiences, including eye-catching native, multiscreen experiences featuring videos, quizzes, exclusive offers and more. The result? A surge in active app customers and a substantial increase in e-commerce revenue.

Value Impact: Leading ASEAN bank CIMB Singapore reimagined its app to empower customers with simple, secure and seamless banking, driving a 162% growth in monthly active users. Nine out of 10 retail customers now use digital banking with 75% regularly making monthly transactions.



Unified Experience: British supermarket chain Asda created cohesive, contextually connected experiences for its loyalty program members, doubling push notification open rates and achieving a remarkable 39% growth in email click-through rates.

Mobile Mastery: Leading retailerThe Vitamin Shoppe transformed its mobile app experience to improve engagement and increase revenue. The brand delivered measurable improvements across the entire customer lifecycle, increasing identified users and loyalty members, boosting in-app engagement through gamification, increasing notification opt-in rates, improving conversion rates with an abandoned cart campaign and expanding app traffic with SMS. 

Judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders, including experts from Pandora, OneFootball, VML and independent retention coach Tom Burrell, the Altitude Awards celebrate the innovative strategies that redefine how brands engage customers and create mutual value.
